Leave for a photographic trek in the Moroccan desert between mountains and sand dunes.
Through your lens and between amateurs/passionate of photography you will discover the different faces of the desert but also varied landscapes as palm groves, kabash. You will cross the Atlas and its suspended villages but also the superb valley of Drâ.
You will spend 3 nights in a hotel and 2 nights in our fixed camp (with sanitary facilities and real beds) at the feet of the big dunes of Chegaga. The other nights will be spent in nomadic bivouac under tent (mattresses and comforters).
With 5/6 hours of moderate walking daily, this trip is ideal for beginners curious to live an experience of sharing and discovery.
You will be accompanied by professional guides who were born in the desert and will share their age-old traditions.
A professional photographer will accompany you during this trip and will give you all his techniques and tricks to take great pictures.
This photo trek is for beginners who want to discover photography and master it with a real camera (possibility to rent a complete pack for 85e).
As well as photographers who already have a good knowledge of photography and wish to learn new techniques.
During your stay, in addition to the daily shooting, your photo coach will propose workshops to deepen your knowledge of certain themes.
Every day you will exchange with other enthusiasts about your achievements.

The photo workshops
Workshop 1: Discover and understand the functions of your camera
Whatever the model of your camera, the photo coach will explain the global functioning of your digital camera and its different manual shooting modes to master the exposure of your photos.
Workshop 2 : Depth of field and composition
You will learn how and when to use the aperture priority mode of your camera to master the depth of field of your photos and the basics of a good composition in landscape or portrait.
Workshop 3: Speed and movement
You will learn how to set and manage the speed priority mode of your camera to take pictures of moving subjects (sportsmen, animals, vehicles, children...)
Workshop 4: Long exposure / Night photos
The desert and its low light pollution is the perfect place to take great night pictures. This workshop will teach you how to master the manual mode and the long exposure to reveal the beauty of a starry sky.
Workshop 5: Portrait Photography
In this workshop, you will shoot portrait photos in pairs between photographers. Staging, framing, shadows, lights, accessories ... will be your assets to let your creativity speak. The photo coach will be there to give you the technical keys to make portraits that you will be proud of!

Commodités de la visite
Arrival in Marrakech Transfer from the airport to your 4* hotel Dinner and overnight stay in a twin room (2 separate beds) or single room (extra charge). Depending on your arrival time you can enjoy a walk in the beautiful Majorelle Garden which is located a few minutes walk from the hotel.
After breakfast, departure around 09:00 am for your destination. On the road the imposing landscapes will follow one another, the Atlas, the kasbahs, the palm groves, the gargotes... Stop for free lunch on the road (not included). Arrival at the end of the afternoon in Ouarzazate after a stop in Aït Ben Haddou. Dinner and night at the riad Tama or equivalent.
Workshop 1 : Discover and understand the functions of your camera.
Workshop 2: Aperture and depth of field.
After breakfast, drive along the Draa Valley with its villages and oases.
Free lunch on the road. Arrival in the afternoon at the starting camp in Zagora.
Workshop 3 : Speed and movement.
After breakfast, departure for the trekking, at a rate of 4 to 5 hours of walk in the morning through the mountain which offers a superb panorama on the surroundings of Zagora. Lunch composed of salads, brochettes, bread etc... Walk in the afternoon about 2 hours, bivouac in the evening under tent. Evening around the fire.
Workshop 4: Long exposure / Photos of nights.
Breakfast-Daily walk of about 3/4 hours in the morning, lunch composed of salads, brochettes, bread etc... Walk in the afternoon about 2 hours. Arrival on the landscapes of dunes and night in fixed bivouac. Tent with real beds and collective sanitary. Dinner in a caïdal tent with a rest area (mattresses, cushions etc...).
After breakfast, departure for a camel trek and picnic under the acacias. In the late afternoon we will climb the highest dune of the massif for a memorable sunset. Dinner, traditional evening around the fire with songs and music. Night at the fixed bivouac under traditional tent.
Workshop: Portrait photos
Return to Marrakech. On the road visit of a carpet cooperative in Taznakhte and free lunch. Arrival in Marrakech at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight at your 4* hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, free time to visit Marrakech. Transfer to the airport according to flight schedule.
